The “Messerfix” is a universal – grinding device for all common mower knives and hedge trimmers. This sharpening device makes sharpening mower blades easy for everyone.
The mower blade is conveniently clamped via the adjustable holders and does not need to be further unclamped during the sharpening process.
The blades are then sharpened by a guided movement with the angle grinder. This concept enables enormous time savings compared to conventional manual grinders.
Easy handling is guaranteed by the rotary wheel as a positioning aid on the carriage. It can also be used to regulate the pressure on the cutting edge during the sharpening process. Backlash-free guide rails ensure a precise and smooth grinding movement of the angle grinder.
Due to the wide range of infinitely variable adjustment options, all types of mower blades can be ground. Furthermore, the settings of two different knife types can be “stored” to allow a quick change from e.g.: Double knife to free-cutting knife.
The robust design and the use of only high-quality components guarantee low-maintenance and long-lasting operation.
All components are connected with screw connections and are thus optimally prepared for possible upgrades.
The Messerfix Universal – grinding device is supplied with a high-quality, variable-speed angle grinder from Metabo with 1,100 watts and special 125mm grinding wheel. In addition, the angle grinder has a soft start and overload protection.
